The continuous coverage of Hurricane Ike reminded me of another devastating moment in American history. On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina invaded Louisiana and destroyed everything in its path. I’m sure many people were heartbroken as they watched their dreams and life savings consumed before their very eyes. Even more disheartening, however, was the delay – or denial – of emergency assistance. Many people needed a favor from F.E.M.A (Federal Emergency Management Agency)., but relief was nowhere in sight.

In the verses recorded above, David announces GOD’S immeasurable love for HIS people. When we get in a jam, GOD comes to the rescue. HE loves us so much that HE won’t let our mistakes destroy us. Instead, HE holds us by the hand and gently guides us back on the righteous path.
I don’t know about you, but these verses make me leap for joy! As mistake prone as I am, I need a reliable insurance policy. Thankfully, I’m in good hands with GOD; HE rescues HIS people!
