Don’t miss Heaven!

An Arby’s commercial inspired today’s recharge.  One of Arby’s current commercials features a man running frantically through an abandoned city.  He’s searching for people, but he can’t find anyone.  In his desperation, he shouts, “Where is everyone?”  Eventually, someone tells him that everyone went to Arby’s. 🙂

One day, this man’s experience will be a shocking reality for those who don’t know JESUS.  They’ll search desperately, but Christians will be gone.  And it will happen quickly – in a moment, in the blink of an eye.  JESUS said we’ll leave so quickly that “Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left.  Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left” (Matthew 24:40-41, New Living Translation).  And no one knows when CHRIST will rescue us, but the signs suggest that it may be sooner than later.  No wonder HE said, “So you, too, must keep watch!  For you do not know the day or hour of my return” (Matthew 25:13, New Living Translation).

All I’m saying is don’t miss Heaven.  Hell is too hot; Heaven is too much to miss.  Live each minute like CHRIST will return the next.

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, GOD’S home is now among HIS people!  HE will live with them, and they will be HIS people. GOD HIMSELF will be with them.  HE will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.  All these things are gone forever” (Revelation 21:3-4, New Living Translation).
