Walk in the Word!

Another testimony inspired today’s recharge.  Hannah, one of my former employees and a Daily Recharge subscriber, was looking for employment with the North Carolina State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU).  She checked the web site, but it said all the positions were filled.  While she was in a local SECU branch, however, she expressed her desire to be employed, and a lady told her to apply for a position.  Hannah told her about the web site, but the woman said apply anyway.  Hannah applied, and soon, she will begin working for SECU!  She got the job because she literally walked in the woman’s word.

Sometimes, deliverance is as simple as walking in the Word.  In the verses included above, 10 lepers received their healing through the Word.  Notice that Jesus didn’t lay hands on them, anoint them with oil, or pray for them.  He spoke the Word, “and as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy” (Luke 17:14, New Living Translation).  In other words, they were healed as the walked in the Word!

The Word is so powerful that all we have to do is believe and walk in it!  If you have problems, then I challenge you to find the Word for your issue and walk in it.  The Word is the “yellow brick road” to your destiny.  And in case you don’t know where to start, here’s a Word for you: “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” (Romans 8:31, New Living Translation)
