Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like we receive constant incentives to panic. Just watch the news for a few moments, and you’ll have plenty of reasons to have a nervous breakdown. 🙂 Think about it – global wars, identity theft, drought, unseasonal storms, potential recession, gas price increases, etc. If you’re not careful, you’ll be afraid to do anything.
That’s why I love David, for he often has a message for a mess-age. In the text cited above, David reminds believers of GOD’S unfailing providence. The message he recorded is clear and relevant – even in tough times, GOD provides for HIS children.
I don’t know where you are in life, but if you’re a child of the KING, you have reason to hope. Think of it this way – when has GOD ever lied? HE can’t. So, if you’re in a desert right now, expect deliverance. GOD is faithful! As an old John P. Kee song asserts: “When there is no sign, keep this in mind. HE’LL show up on time!”
